How Long Is Forever is an intimate multimedia piano performance by Julien Lee, unfolding through a series of voice notes play through cassette player,  left behind by someone deeply in love. What begins as the story of two people meeting in a newly painted house slowly becomes an exploration of longing, obsession, vulnerability, memory, and transcendence.

Blending virtuosic piano improvisation, original songs, electronic soundscapes, recorded voice messages, and immersive visual art, the performance invites audiences into a private world usually hidden from view—the messages we record in the middle of the night, the words we never quite know how to say face to face, and the moments that continue echoing long after they have ended.

Each voice note reveals another chapter. Each piece of music becomes another emotional landscape. Together, they ask a simple yet impossible question:

How long is forever?
